Auto Estimator

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Estimator to join our team. As an Auto Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely estimates for automotive repairs.
Your expertise in customer service, automotive diagnostics, and sales will contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our auto service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle repair needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the estimation process
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damages and determine the necessary repairs
- Utilize your knowledge of auto estimating to accurately calculate repair costs, including parts, labor, and additional services
- Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to obtain input on repair requirements and ensure accurate estimates
- Present estimates to customers in a clear and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions for reference and billing purposes
- Assist with cash handling and processing payments from customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in auto estimating or a related field is required
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to nontechnical individuals
- Proficient in sales techniques to upsell additional services when appropriate
- Familiarity with service management software is preferred
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make accurate assessments of damages and repair needs

Pay:
$7, $8,500.00 per month
Day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- 12 hour shift
