About the Job:

* A pharmacy technician assists a pharmacist in the process of filling a prescription.
* The technician will perform pharmaceutical care tasks under the control and guidance of a licensed pharmacist.

Requirements:

* A technician must be registered with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy and obtain continuing education hours pursuant with that registration yearly.
* Must have certification from Pharmacy Tech Certification Board (PTCB).
* Sedentary work performed in office setting. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
