What You'll Do

The Events + Meeting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operational procedures for conference room and amenity space bookings and execution, while providing the highest level of customer service. The right candidate will have the technical agility to learn new products and features, an interest and aptitude in technology, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine desire to bring hospitality to the workplace.

How You'll Do It
    • Manage day-to-day technical and operational needs of conference and lounge space
    • Ensure the smooth operation of A/V equipment and technology in conference rooms, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing tools, and other related equipment.
    • Assist tenants with any inquiries or technical difficulties during meetings and events, providing proactive support to ensure a seamless experience.
    • Maintain an inventory of equipment, supplies, and catering items, ensuring timely restocking and replenishment as needed.
    • Coordinate with building teams (janitorial, security, maintenance) as needed to support conference and event needs
    • Learn and anticipate tenant needs/preferences to provide them with personalized solutions + offer surprise and delight moments to improve tenant experiences
    • Liaison and collaborate with other on-site teams to ensure a consistent five-star tenant experience

Key Competencies
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clear and effective communication and dissemination of information. Understand and follow the process for communication, and how and when information is shared.
    • Organization and task management: Prioritize work and effectively delegate tasks. Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Customer centric: Meets and exceeds customer needs. Displays service excellence and hospitality mindset always.

Desired Skills + Experience
    • 2+ years of experience in event management, conference room or amenity management and/or hospitality industry
    • 2+ years experience in troubleshooting IT or A/V equipment issues
    • Ability to deliver excellent customer experiences in any environment
    • Ability to think proactively and troubleshoot potential issues before they arise.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Google suite and MS Office (Word and Excel)
    • Ability to work with all levels of staffing, other management and clientele
    • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service
    • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
    • Experience working in amenity management within commercial sites is nice to have
