Position Summary Details

This position is in charge of towing and emptying trash and cardboard carts as they fill through the shift.

Pay: $15.00 -16.00 /Hourly range based on shift

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the facility.
* Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles using the forklift, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
* Safely handle and maneuver heavy and bulky materials, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
* Maintain accurate inventory records by properly documenting incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Inspect and perform routine maintenance on the forklift, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
* Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and efficiency.
* Assist with other tasks and duties within the facility as needed.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
* Valid certification to operate a forklift (e.g., OSHA certification).
* Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to forklift operation.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects, often weighing up to [insert weight limit] pounds.
* Excellent coordination and spatial awareness skills.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
