Our proprietary memory B cell hybridoma technology allows for the rapid screening and functional characterization of novel antibodies and targets.

Position summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Research Scientist with experience generating and developing therapeutic antibodies to join Immunome's Antibody Engineering group. This group supports mission-critical activities in both early phase research as well as lead discovery and optimization of antibody-based biologics. Therefore, the successful candidate will have opportunities to make meaningful contributions to programs at all levels of the research and early development spectrum. The SRS will be expected to lead antibody discovery and optimization projects, develop assays, and characterize antibody and antibody-antigen binding. Prior experience with cell-based cytotoxicity and internalization assay, protein expression, and purification on AKTA instruments is a plus. The ideal candidate will be interested in developing new therapeutic modalities, learning new technologies and techniques to support the team's goals, and have prior industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop assays and characterize antibody-antigen interactions
  • Perform WB / ELISA / Flow Cytometry / BLI (Octet)-based assays and standard molecular biology techniques
  • Perform flow cytometry, live imaging and cytotoxicity assays
  • Analyze data and regularly submit experiments to an electronic lab notebook
  • Support cell culture and protein purification as needed

Requirements

Educational background and experience: Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or related discipline with 8+ years of industry experience OR MS with 6+ years of industry experience OR PhD with 3 years of experience in industry or academia.
