RF Bench Tech

Education and Experience:

* Minimum associates degree in Electronics
* Minimum 5 years' experience working in bench repair field
* Experience in AC/DC circuit design

Primary responsibilities:

* Perform trouble shooting on items in need of repair.
* Perform through-hole, surface mount and fine pitch soldering
* Have skills to read schematics and understand circuits.
* Use testing equipment such as voltage meters, ESR, Oscilloscope, signal generators etc.
* Repair RF Matchers and Generators as well as complex PCB and Controllers using root cause methodology down to component level.
* Able to perform post repair testing with knowledge of load testing and or signal generation.

Additional Skills and Targeted Experience:

* Understanding of Smith Charts, spectrum analyzer
* High Power DC supply repair, testing and calibration ranging from 1kW to 80kW.
* AC and DC Servo/Stepper motor rebuild and test.
* Advanced experience in AC and DC circuitry, advance test equipment, simulation software, and discrete semiconductor characteristics.
* Labview, Multi-Sim, Cadence or equivalent electrical design software.
* Hardware programming language (VHDL, Verilogic, JTAG, etc.)
