Here at Lakeside Foods, our field maintenance team is the backbone of our field operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally. Field maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected team members, performing preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs on our harvesting equipment such as pea harvesters and sweet corn harvesters. If you are a creative problem-solver who likes to work outdoors during the summer months and indoors in the winter months, we want to talk with you.

What You'll Do:

* Harvest season (June - October)
* Responsible for the efficient operation of the pea harvesters, sweet corn harvesters, and any other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations.
* Serve as a supervisor/mechanic for field operations. Train other field employees in the safe, proper and efficient operation of field equipment.
* Assist in the planting and harvesting of crops.


* Preventative Maintenance Season (November - May):
* Overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations.
* Maintain Lakeside company vehicles.



What You'll Bring:

* Prior experience with preventative maintenance, machine adjustments, and harvesting procedures is preferred, willing to provide on the job training
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
* Valid driver's license is required, CDL a plus
* Positive attitude
* Strong work ethic
* Safety mindset
