Here at Lakeside Foods, our Field Maintenance team is the backbone of our field operations, ensuring proper operation of the agriculture department. The Agricultural Field Maintenance Technician Intern will perform a variety of day-to-day tasks with the Agriculture Department. What You'll Do:

* Assist with the maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment and machinery.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
* Repair or replace damaged or worn parts.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
* Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
* Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures.
* Report all injuries to the Field Superintendent.
* Assist with training in the safe, proper, and efficient operation of field equipment.
* Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
* May perform other duties as assigned by the Agriculture Managers and Supervisors.
* Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
* Notify management immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.

What You'll Bring:

* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Agricultural experience/knowledge.
* Currently enrolled in an agricultural or mechanical engineering program.
* Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians and Agriculture Managers.
* Ability to perform all job duties and task in accordance with best and safe practices.
