The Head of Pharmacy Operations will have direct supervisory responsibility for the Pharmacy team, leading the day-to-day of pharmacy operations, s and will be responsible for analyzing pharmacy data, identifying quality improvement and cost containment opportunities, and ensuring the pharmacy operates with strict operating discipline that delivers consistently high-quality results and outcomes across the enterprise.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality medication delivery to patients with low tolerance for errors, high degree of accuracy, and speed to medication dispensing.
  • Oversee purchasing, inventory, order processing, utilization, distribution of products and services, ensuring services are in compliance with professional quality standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor, evaluate and present pharmacy data including monthly reporting of trends for drug utilization and drug costs.
  • Develop, implement, improve, and enforce policies and procedures to promote appropriate, safe and cost-effective m Next> edication use.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic guidance and pharmacy-specific support.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide pharmacy, and ensures training, development, communication, discipline of all pharmacy staff. Maintains staffing levels within established guidelines as needed.
  • Creates regular reporting packages for all inventory-related services across the enterprise.

  • Strong leadership capacity to lead a team - focusing not only on driving results and execution, but also creating the structure, system, processes, and roles for the team to have clear responsibilities, measurable goals, and consistent accountability to be successful.
  • High personal accountability for achieving results, high energy, and strong drive to develop him/herself while constantly improving our business model..
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to create actionable items for improvement and change.
  • Commitment to data-driven evaluation of initiatives and performance.
  • Problem solving and project management skills; understanding the big picture while being attentive to the details required to successfully implement things (i.e., proper balance between high level problem solving and focus on execution).
  • Experience working in a fulfillment center is strongly preferred.

Education And Experience Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in Stem field
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience with pharmacy inventory management or process improvement in a health care delivery setting or equivalent experience

This role will be onsite 5 days a week in our Kirkland, WA location

The expected salary for this role will be betwee $175,000 and $200,000 per year
