Empath Health is currently seeking a Pharmacy Delivery Dispatch Lead to join our team.

The Pharmacy Delivery Dispatch Lead:

  • Responsible for coordinating deliveries of medication or other items to Empath Health patients via pharmacy drivers, hospice volunteers or contracted courier services.
  • Manages a fast-paced operations environment in which the incumbent will take and respond to phone calls as well as manage computer programs and systems.

Position Requirements

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two (2) years of delivery or logistics experience.
  • Licensure: Valid Florida driver's license and driving record that qualifies as acceptable as per insurance requirements.
  • Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's HR file.
  • Ability to direct the work of the other employees effectively
  • Proven customer service skills. Good communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (typing, web-based systems, Microsoft Office).
