Porch Light Health is seeking a dedicated part-time Billing Mail Sorter that will provide exceptional office and mail services, delivering operational functions in the following areas: processing of inbound/outbound mail, and distributing/delivering of mail.

Porch Light Health is a respected leader in the outpatient treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), and other addictive disorders. We foster a supportive and family-oriented environment where patients are treated with compassion, respect, and honesty. Our team believes that addiction is a chronic, relapsing brain disease, and we are passionate about helping individuals navigate their recovery journey. We provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and behavioral health services, helping patients discover their purpose and build a healthy community.

Responsibilities and Duties: As a Billing Mail Sorter key responsibilities include:
  • Receives inbound mail/packages and sorts incoming mail
  • Manages outgoing mail/package transactions.
  • Scans and emails incoming bills and statements to appropriate department
  • Performs duties associated with shipping and receiving of materials.
  • Notifies employees upon receipt of inbound deliveries.
  • Distributes mail/packages to company personnel.
  • Maintains professionalism and composure when interacting with all employees.
  • Determines what additional support is needed when handling sensitive inquiries.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • PC skills Google/MS Office Suite experience
  • Handling Confidential Information experience
  • Scanning, emailing, and faxing documents
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures and ability to comprehend instructions.
  • Possesses ability to work independently and capable of completing projects.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • 1+ years prior work experience preferred.
  • Ability to work assigned work hours determined by manager.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems required for functions of position.
  • Required to maintain an overall professional appearance and attitude.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures required.
  • Experience handling Confidential Information
  • Must have transportation to clinic

Job Type:
  • Part-Time -average 15 hours per week, M-W-F
  • Day Shift between 8:30-4:00pm
