POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) that works directly with clients in a school-based setting, to help them develop skills, reduce problematic behaviors, and promote positive behavior change.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Assist in Developing Social Skills and Life Skills
  • Collect and record data based on client behavior.
  • Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress.
  • Help to reduce client behavior issues and identify behavior causing triggers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completed at least 40 hours of training and passed the RBT Competency Assessment
  • Registered in Maryland as an Behavior Technician
  • 2 years of experience as an RBT
  • Experience in a mental health setting is a plus
  • Ability to develop and maintain open and clear communication with clients, parents/guardians and staff
  • Strong collaboration skills and interpersonal interaction skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Dedication to maintaining the confidentiality of all patient records
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and EHR systems

Employment with Interdynamics is contingent upon completing screening requirements (including, but not limited to, Criminal Background Check and State Child Abuse Registry Clearance).
