Job Summary:
Embark on a fulfilling journey with us at Geisinger's Department of Neurosurgery as a Post-Doctoral Cerebrovascular Research Fellow. Job Duties:
- Conducts research related to specific project or initiative.
- Gathers, summarizes, records and interprets data obtained from research projects and initiatives.
- Plans subsequent work with review and approval of principal scientist and investigator.
- Develops research protocols.
- May instruct others in area of expertise.
- May present research results at internal and external scientific venues.
- Interprets and follow policies and guidelines to define procedures and meet goals and deadlines.
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. - Focused Research: Engage in detailed studies within the cerebrovascular domain, applying your expertise to advance our ongoing projects. Your contributions will play a crucial role in our continuous quest for knowledge.
- Data Analysis and Protocol Development: Interpret research data to inform future studies. You'll also have the opportunity to craft research protocols under the guidance of our principal scientists, shaping the direction of your investigations.
- Collaborative Environment: While starting under the guidance of experienced faculty, you'll have opportunities for professional growth. Your role may evolve to include mentoring peers and leading aspects of research projects.
- Knowledge Sharing: Present your findings to the scientific community, both within and outside Geisinger. This will not only elevate your work but also contribute to the broader discourse in neurosurgical research.
