Location:Geisinger Medical Center (GMC)Shift:Rotation (United States of America)Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Worker Type:RegularExemption Status:YesJob Summary:Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking at BC/BE Electrophysiologist for a full-time opportunity to join Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.Job Duties:The ideal candidate will be a fellowship trained Electrophysiologist. This individual will be supported by an integrated system-wide team of EP physicians. The Central team consists of EP physicians, advanced practitioners, dedicated EP labs, and a full array of cardiology/cardiothoracic surgery services. Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute spans a 45-county service area and has over 100 physicians and more than 75 advanced practitioners. This team provides care in 5 acute care tertiary/ quaternary hospitals, 4 community hospitals, and numerous outreach locations. Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute features multiple accredited chest pain centers, a nationally recognized regional STEMI PCI network, complex arrhythmia ablation, a full range of coronary, vascular and structural heart interventions and an advanced heart failure program.The multidisciplinary team members of the Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute participate in outcomes and population-based research through the Geisinger Center for Health Research; molecular, cellular and genomics research at the Siegfried and Janet Weis Center for Health Research; and trials of new drugs, devices and techniques through the Geisinger Center for Clinical Studies.
