Lynntech, Inc., a rapidly growing technology development company specializing in transitioning innovative ideas and concepts into marketable technologies, is seeking highly motivated, creative researchers for our team-driven work environment. We currently have exciting opportunities for a Full-Time Research Assistant with a background in Rapid Prototyping, Electronic Systems, and/or Computer Programming. Work is conducted on-site; schedule is 40 hrs/week, flexible within standard business hours. Work could begin as early as May 2024, but the posting will remain open until the position has been filled.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

* Computational analysis using a general-purpose programming language
* Assisting in the design and execution of laboratory and field experiments
* Acquiring data using various imaging, acoustic, RF, and other electronic techniques
* Analyzing and interpreting test results
* Maintaining a laboratory notebook as a detailed log of experiments, results, and ongoing research efforts
* Generating formal written reports of research efforts
* Performing other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education:

* Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in computer science, physics, engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field
* Ability to design and carry out experiments with limited supervision
* Data management and technical reporting skills
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to interact with scientists and researchers from other disciplines
* Excellent organizational and data management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven technical writing capabilities

Desired Experience:

* Familiarity with RF signals & systems, modulation/demodulation, sampling, filtering, distortion, etc.
* Background in microcontroller, FPGA, or other embedded system development
* 1+ year experience working in a research, development, and/or rapid prototyping environment
* Experience in programming in Python, C/C++, Matlab, and/or Labview
* Linux system administration / configuration
* Prototype hardware fabrication and testing
