They coordinate the services through leadership and collaboration with colleagues throughout the Medical Center. The Director ##Participates in the development and management of department budgets and productivity targets. ##Manages human resources utilization, promotes employee engagement, supports staff development, and utilizes the progressive discipline process when appropriate. ##Leads employees, supports organizational goals and decisions, implements necessary changes, and participates in strategic planning for service needs and resource utilization. ##Maintains and promotes quality service and best practice. Participates in quality improvement processes and assures implementation of regulatory standards. ##Identifies and recommends departmental applications# and program upgrades to achieve departmental efficiencies and the organization#s strategic initiatives. ##In collaboration with the Privacy and Security Officers, monitors, identifies, recommends and implements privacy and security measures. ##Maintains working knowledge and assures implementation of regulatory standards (e.g. JCAHO, HIPPA, Title 22, OSHA, OSHPD and other state and federal agencies).# Assures readiness for surveys, planned or unplanned, and coordinates any follow-up activities for area of responsibility. ##Coordinates with the appropriate Supervisor(s) the hire process and coordinates orientation, work schedule, training and evaluation according to Enloe#s policies and procedures. ##Monitors staff compliance and productivity through quality improvement activities. ##Enforces suspension policy for delinquent medical records ##Attends meetings, prepares reports, analyzes and provides recommendations in a timely and accurate manner. EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Minimum: Three#years direct administrative and management experience in an acute care hospital.#(Experience must be current and within the last three years.)
