Job Description:

The Director of Imaging Services is a key leadership position responsible for the clinical and administrative management of Radiology Services at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Patient Care Services and is a critical member of the Medical Center's leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage department budgets and productivity targets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage human resources, promoting employee satisfaction, staff development, and effective utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive strategic planning, implement necessary changes, and promote quality service and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including JCAHO, Title 22, and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
  • Develop and maintain policies, practices, and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and service.
  • Supervise staff in Radiology modalities, guiding them in adherence to applicable standards of care and departmental expectations.
  • Act as a resource to other departments for education and information in the area of expertise.
  • Foster professional growth, teambuilding, and effective working relationships within the department.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow through the Radiology departments, making a significant impact on patient outcomes and department efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of managerial experience, with at least 5 years in a healthcare leadership role.
  • Master's degree in radiology, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience relevant to Imaging Services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of managerial experience in a hospital setting.
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Membership in a professional organization and attendance at conferences regarding management and supervision of employees.
  • Experience in a complex medical center environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Leadership ability.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including JCAHO standards, Title 22 regulations, and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
  • Financial management and reporting skills.
  • Quality improvement processes and human resource management expertise.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
