Trillium Staffing is hiring Medical Billing Clerks. Responsibilities will include managing patient billing while working regularly with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance websites.
Primary duties will include:
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding patient bills.
• Manage and process payments for medical treatments.
• Maintain knowledge and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Collect guarantors' co-payments, co-insurance, estimates, outstanding balances, and deductibles.
• Contact payors to verify insurance eligibility, when applicable.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of information required by the company.
• Assist guarantor with billing questions and ensure proper resolution of problems.
Medical Billing Clerks will work first shift hours, 8am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Pay ranges from $17-$21/hour, based on experience. Positions are full time and temp-to-hire. Upon company hire, client offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• Hospital or clinic billing experience required
• Accounts receivable and collections experience required
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance forms and websites
