Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Project Controls for the project(s) assigned. This position will assist, guide and recommend all project managers in areas of Planning, Reporting, Cost Control and Contract Management. The incumbent will also actively engage in developing and monitoring budgets and schedules, and controlling costs with many complex features. This position reports directly to the Project Controls Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

* Provides technical guidance in analyzing and interpreting complex sections of project scope documents and assists in project management
* Develops and implements project controls standards and procedures
* Participates in proposal preparation and client presentations
* Prepares conceptual, preliminary and definitive estimates
* Maintains project schedule in accordance with company standards and procedures
* Ensures that all project scheduling activities such as schedule development, updates, progress reporting, and recommendations for corrective action comply with company and client requirements
* Assists in the determination of project manpower requirements and prepares periodic forecasts of personnel utilization.
* Ensures that all project activities such as budget development, budget monitoring, updates, cash flow requirements, and recommendations for corrective action comply with company and client requirements.
* Advises project management of cost impact of proposed design or construction changes.
* Advises clients of cost trends and their effects on anticipated project expenditures.
* Establishes methodologies and supervises life cycle cost analyses, economic/financial evaluations, productivity evaluations and value engineering analyses.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or university degree with relevant construction or project management, business administration or engineering degree is desired.
