Job Summary and Qualifications
TheMRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.The MRITech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
What you will do in this role:
* You will compassionately assist and position patients.
* You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
* You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
* You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
* You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
* You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Whatqualificationsyouwillneed:
* Prefer High school graduate / graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
* Registered with the ARRT or ARMRIT. MRI registry within 6 months of hire.
* BLS required within 30 days
* MRI experience preferred
