Group Benefits Account Manager

Position Overview
The Group Benefits Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing benefits programs, and ensuring the effective enrollment and administration of group benefits. This role aims to provide exceptional service to clients while maximizing their benefits experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients regarding their group benefits plans.
- Oversee the enrollment process for group benefits and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct analysis of client needs and provide recommendations for benefit solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to benefits management.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure seamless policy management and implement changes as needed.
- Facilitate ad hoc analysis to assess the effectiveness of benefits offerings and suggest improvements.
- Educate clients and their employees about voluntary benefits options and group benefits enrollment processes.
- Monitor and report on key metrics related to group benefits administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance or benefits account management.
- Strong knowledge of group benefits and voluntary benefits insurance.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform ad hoc analysis and policy management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with CPT coding and its relevance in benefits management.
