Job Purpose: Provides support and services to Juvenile Court-involved youth and families. Acts as a liaison between Lucas County Juvenile Court, community based organizations, and health and human services agencies to improve individualized outcomes. Provides consultation with agencies regarding individualized service management plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in education, counseling, clinical social work or a closely related field. Master's degree preferred. At least three (3) years relevant work experience and Master's level course work in the field is preferred; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.

Special Requirements

Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age; have a valid driver's license; and submit to a pre-employment screening including drug screen, criminal record check, and in-depth reference check. In this position there is a high probability of experiencing situations that involve an elevated stress level while dealing with violent or uncooperative youth.

Miscellaneous Information

Must possess basic computer/keyboarding skills that include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Must be competent in using online video conferencing for communication, meetings, and trainings. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to work independently and also as a member of a professional team. Experience with interviewing. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated management/leadership skills including organization, time, and project management. Project planning management experience. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently within teams and independently. Strong interpersonal skills.
