MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Nursing Department is to deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and quality patient care. The mission is consistent with the hospital's mission, which is to deliver a wide variety of community oriented health services/programs.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Under the direction and guidance of the registered nurse, functions as monitor watcher for Marquette Monitoring System on the Critical Care Unit. May perform a variety of patient care duties and tasks, provides basic nursing care and maintains the environment, equipment and supplies as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalence
- CERTIFICATIONS Monitor Watch training required.
LICENSE(S) REQUIRED PCT Training Required.
- Experience/Skills Previous PCT experience required.
required: Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Bilingual preferred
Knowledge of Computer Technology preferred.
Successful completion of St. Barnabas Hospital orientation.
