Description

The Customer Service Support position serves an essential role in the Customer Service experience at Applejack Wine & Spirits. The Customer Service Support Staff is responsible in providing fast and friendly customer service, directing phone calls, helping as a back-up cashier, and assisting all customers at the Service Desk.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Proactively approach customers to identify their needs
  • Direct customers through checkout lanes to minimize long lines
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Receive and direct customer phone calls
  • Assist Customers to different areas of the store as needed
  • Align with company programs to drive consumer loyalty
  • Maintain store safety standards and store cleanliness
  • Assist with Point of Sale
  • Verify customer identification in order to adhere to policies for serving minors
  • Process transactions efficiently
  • Balance a register drawer and accurately handle cash, check, and credit card transactions
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to use technology applicable to the position
  • Dress and present self in a clean and professional manner
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Requirements
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Must pass background check
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
