Responsibilities:

* Drives vehicles between local sites


* Maintains building and grounds at the fixed route location. Performs maintenance to include (but not limited to) mopping, removal of trash, use of floor machine


* Reports possible safety violations or issues to the safety and training manager


* Responsible for outfitting fleet with documentation and/or equipment as directed by management


* Reports any vehicle issues or leaks to the maintenance site


* Places client fliers or rider alerts on vehicles as required


* Drives, maneuvers, and parks vehicles. May include maneuvering vehicles through the wash bay


* In instances of inclement weather, prepares the fixed route lot. Including (but not limited to) operating the snowplow and/or sander, placing ice melt, placing hazard signs


* Responsible for delivery of any utilities related paperwork between the operations and maintenance sites


* Reports any maintenance issues to supervisors or management


* Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required


* Must possess a valid state driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a good driving record


* Must be eligible for and able to obtain a Commercial Drivers License with a Passenger endorsement within 30 days of hire


* Applicants who already hold a CDL will receive preference



Experience:

* 1 year or more of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred

Skills and Knowledge Required:

* Good oral communication skills


* Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions


* Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by Material Safety Data Sheets and all other safety training materials provided


* Ability to learn shop processes including fueling vehicles and cleaning vehicles


* Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products


* Ability to use a variety of equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines, and other heavy cleaning equipment


* Strong attention to details
