The Role
Experienced Associates in Tax Services work as members of various client service teams.
Experienced Associates can expect to:
* Engage in the tax preparation, tax returns, tax planning and consulting processes;
* Collaborate with each engagement team to identify and research client problems and propose possible solutions; and
* Receive formal tax training, on the job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.
The Requirements
* 1+ year of relevant tax experience;
* Bachelor's and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD);
* Accounting, Finance, Economics or related (Preferred)
* Minimum GPA: 3.0.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities;
* Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
* Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication; and
* Proficient use of technology.
