Position Description:
Schedule: M-F, 8-5 on-call required

The Donor Program Liaison supports the mission of Legacy of Hope to improve and extend lives through organ and tissue donation for transplantation. The primary role of the Liaison is to develop, implement, and maintain policies and strategies to maximize donation opportunities involving Coroner, Medical Examiner, District Attorney's, Department of Corrections, Prison System and Funeral Homes. The Liaison builds collaborative relationships with stakeholders and active two-way communications throughout their assigned territory in the State to increase donation awareness and support through education. The Liaison will work closely with the organ and tissue recovery management teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive and collaborative customer service to stakeholders. The Liaison collects, analyzes and distributes data to LoH leadership and customers.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: A two (2) year degree in Criminology, Communications, Marketing, or Health Care. Degree may be substituted by a minimum of five years related work experience.

Preferred: Experience in Organ and/or Tissue Procurement, Law Enforcement, Coroner, or Funeral Service Industry.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Required: Valid driver's license and ability to be insured for company vehicles. May be required to drive personal vehicle. Liability coverage of $100,000.00 per person and $300,000.00 per accident for personal vehicle is required.
