Front Desk Customer Service Representative

Carroll Water is seeking a full-time front desk Customer Service Representative to help us in our growing office. This is a Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm position located in our Chantilly office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Team environment but requires the candidate to be self-motivated.
- Answering phone calls in a timely manner.
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Appointment setting with customers and keep CRM updated at all times.
- Work directly with service manager to schedule efficient service routes and routines.
- Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that the appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Performs administrative work as assigned.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized.
About Carroll Water Systems
Founded in 1983 by Ron Smith. Ron's goal was to provide Carroll County, Maryland with clean drinking water. After many years building Carroll Water in 2015 his son, Brian, purchased the company. Brian worked in the company since he was 12 years old. Since acquiring the company Brian's vision has continued to surpass all expectations, acquiring Harr Well Drilling in 2016 and Jones Well Drilling in 2022, to make Carroll Water Systems a leader in the Water Treatment and Well Drilling industry.
