Client Overview:

Our client, a Boston based Property Management company is seeking a dedicated Recertification Specialist to join their robust property management team in Boston.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25 - $28/hr

Position Overview:

The Recertification Specialist will execute the annual recertification process and maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with HUD, Tax Credit, and other applicable regulations. This Recertification Specialist is a contract-to-hire position, on-site at our office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities of the Recertification Specialist:

* Implement and oversee the annual income recertification process for all tenants, ensuring timelines and regulatory restrictions are adhered to
* Conduct applicant certifications and send necessary notices regarding the recertification process
* Maintain meticulous records of all recertification paperwork, interview notes, tenant files, and correspondence
* Process all incoming recertification packets for accuracy and completeness
* Assist in handling complaints, resolving problems, and answering inquiries regarding the recertification process from residents
* Stay updated on current HUD, state, and local regulations surrounding resident eligibility and recertification
* Maintain constant communication and collaborate with the property management team to ensure smooth operations and resident satisfaction

Qualifications for the Recertification Specialist:

* 1 to 3 years experience in property management with recertification process
* Knowledge of Yardi or RealPage software

Education Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED is required
* Associates degree is preferred
