Maintenance Supervisor

Primary responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor

* Provide Maintenance employees with guidance, direction, and supervision in support of departmental operations.
* Promptly address performance issues.
* Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results.
* Execute planned and scheduled maintenance operations within assigned area of responsibility.
* Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner.
* Maintain well-organized and productive work areas.
* Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
* Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required for the Maintenance Supervisor

* High School Diploma required. Two-year college degree - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
* 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational environment.
* Practical understanding of industrial/maintenance principles, standards, methods and practices.
* Knowledge of disciplined problem-solving methods.
* Flexibility in terms of shift assignments and/or rotations.
* Ability to work extensive hours in support of continuous operations
* Working knowledge of (MS Office, Outlook, Work and Excel).
* Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
* Ability to work in an industrial environment
* Ability to work with associates at various levels of management.
