The Staff Accountant supports accounting and financial function for the various entities of Alliance Physical Therapy Partners. Responsibilities include assisting in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process, and the monthly general ledger close as well as balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities
* Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
* Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.
* Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
* Execute credit card and bank reconciliation.
* Involvement with general accounting functions such as monthly close and account reconciliations.
* Perform ad hoc requests (aging analysis, financial reporting, audit requests, etc.)
* Team first mentality, willing to "roll up sleeves" and help others when time allows.
* Display a customer service attitude.

Required Qualifications/Skills
* One or more years of accounting experience
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* Superb time management skills and detail oriented
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment prioritizing to meet deadlines
* Advanced Excel Skills
* Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or other ERP systems
* Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
