Key Responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager:

* Manager must be on Duty during the busiest times.


* Ensures that the restaurant and restaurant facilities are kept clean, well stocked and organized.


* Ensuring a consistent positive guest experience.


* Planning of weekly and seasonal events.

Circulates throughout the restaurant facilities and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.


* Compliance to Health Department standards.


* Maintaining a positive morale within the department.


* Training front of the house staff and on-course refreshment car staff on department standards.


* Assuring consistency in quality of food, service and timing.


* Holding daily Pre-shifts involving Executive Chef for Food Knowledge review.


* Menu creation and inserting into Jonas.


* Daily Floor Plans.


* Editing and maintaining proper POS operations.


* Coding and logging of invoices.


* Managing expenditures within budgeted numbers.


* Managing labor within budgeted numbers.


* Overseeing all Food & Beverage Inventory control and maintaining cost of sales within budgeted numbers.


* Daily communications with the Director of Food & Beverage on department status.


* Leading team in a positive manner.


* Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.



Other Qualifications:

* Regular and reliable attendance.


* Alcohol Awareness Training, Food Safety and appropriate sanitation training.
