Essential Duties:

* Coordinate a system of employee to HR access points and procedures that facilitate a positive employee experience.
* Design and implement a system of new employee onboarding and orientation.
* Design and supervise a system of employee off boarding to include employee exit surveys.
* Coordinate a system of monitoring school enrollment trends and employment data to identify and forecast future needs for targeted recruitment efforts.
* Develop and revise standard operating procedures for all areas of Employment Services.
* Coordinate AccessHCS employee self-service implementation, training, and support, and manage the HCM HelpDesk function to ensure responsive and accurate communications with HCS staff.
* Ensure all relevant policies are implemented within local, state, and federal guidelines.
* Implement a comprehensive employee background check system compliant with local, state, and federal requirements.
* Assist with the development of district school allocation guidelines.
* Assist with leave management and workplace accommodation processes.
* Support principals and other district hiring authorities with onboarding new employees.
* Collaborate with all District divisions to achieve overall district strategic initiatives.
* Lead the annual retirement celebration for Henry County Schools.
* Prepare Human Resources communications as needed to inform stakeholders of important information.
* Prepare and deliver training and presentations to various stakeholders.
* Lead and participate on district committees and working teams.
* Stay abreast of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or Education, or the equivalent coursework in a specialized field, preferred. SHRM or pHCLE certification, preferred.
* Minimum of three years of successful experience in education or related field; building level or district level administrative experience, preferred.
* Ability to work and supervise in a team environment, and ability to work well with staff, administrators, the public, and other stakeholders, required.
* Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgement in decision-making.
* Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation.
* Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
* Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
* Ability to be present at the physical worksite.
* Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
* Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
* Vision, hearing, written, and verbal communications are essential factors in performing required tasks.
