Responsibilities

The Assistant Vice President of Net Revenue will oversee the analysis, development and implementation of financial and administrative services for designated areas of hospital responsibility.

* Direct hospital financial and regulatory reporting processes that include:
* Financial statement preparation
* Audit coordination
* Membership billing
* Preparation and filing of reports with external agencies


* Responsible for the development and maintenance of hospital accounting systems:
* Including internal control systems and financial practices for reporting entities.


* Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions.
* Lead the associates and hospital practices involved in the accounting processes.
* Relationship building, understanding all functions within Ascension healthcare.
* Cost Analyst experience.
* AR Evaluation, knowledge of the Revenue Cycling Analytics (RCA) preferred.
* Technical and leadership skills with healthcare management experience preferred.
* Strong leadership skills required.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* Accountant preferred.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree Accounting, Finance, or Related field.

Experience:

* 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required in healthcare.
* 5 years management experience.
* 5 years reimbursement/AR valuation experience.
* CPA or MBA preferred.
