Therapeutic Program Worker

What You Will Do

* Participate in the development of treatment plans.
* Charting, documentation, records, and reporting
* Organizing and conducting patient group activities
* Transport of patients to off-site appointments
* Participating in appropriate intervention

You Also Need to Know

* Must be able to complete a 4 week (business days Monday-Friday) full time orientation.
* May work weekends and holidays; may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior.
* Training and development required to remain in the classification after employment.

Salary & Schedule Information for Established Term Appointment (ETA)

* An Established Term Appointment (ETA) will have a length of appointment not to exceed ten (10) months consecutively.
* $21.63 per hour - step increase after working 2080hrs.
* Established Term Appointments (ETA) are scheduled to meet the needs of the hospital with no guarantee of hours, shifts or assignment location.
* Days & Hours vary based on operational need. Shifts times are: 6:30a-3:00p, 2:30p-11:00p, 10:45p-6:45a, may work weekends and holidays.

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English

vocabulary. In Department of Developmental Disabilities, must also possess a high school diploma or a certificate of high

school equivalence pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code 5123:2-3-01(F) (1) (c).

Or in positions at Veteran Services in addition to above must possess STNA certification &/or listed on Ohio Nurse Aide

Registry.

For positions that require operation of motor vehicle to transport consumers to recreational, educational &/or occupational

activities, a valid driver's license is required.

* Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
