Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative with a background in financial services, consumer lending, or contact center support. This individual will assist in providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and supporting our clients through their consumer lending needs. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience, including consumer lending, and possess excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries regarding consumer lending products and services, including loan applications, account management, and general financial inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns or issues with professionalism and efficiency while ensuring the satisfaction of each client.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of customer requests.
- Assist with loan processing, including gathering necessary documentation, reviewing eligibility, and providing status updates.
- Educate customers on available financial products, services, and the lending process, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in their decisions.
- Maintain and update customer records accurately in the company’s CRM system.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines in the course of customer interaction.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and skills through training and self-development opportunities.
- Meet performance goals related to customer satisfaction, response time, and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, financial services, or contact center support, preferably within consumer lending.
- Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and performance targets.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a contact center or call center environment.
- Military experience or related training, especially in customer service or financial services.
- Experience with loan processing and credit evaluations.
