POSITION: Class A CDL Driver

LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 40-50 hours per week

We are looking for a Class A CDL Driver to deliver various building products to local customers. Our Drivers are home most weeknights with WEEKENDS OFF. Our ideal candidate is reliable, practices safe driving, and has excellent customer service skills. Recent CDL graduates are welcome to apply

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Drive a 48-53 foot tractor/trailer, curtain van, or flat under DOT guidelines and regulations to deliver building products throughout the local area
    1. Some routes may require a combination of commercial vehicle sizes, including doubles and pups
    2. Loads will be fully loaded by warehouse personnel prior to departure
  • Make multiple customer stops with occasional hand unloading of items and forklift off by consignee
    1. Some routes may require driving in snow, and chaining up, depending on the time of year and weather
    2. Some routes may require overnight runs during the week; company paid meals and lodging will be provided for overnight runs

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • Current Class "A" CDL with current medical certificate and insurable driving record
  • Ability to conduct interstate commerce
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely
  • Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least 1 year of safe commercial driving experience (preferred but not required)
  • Double/triple trailer endorsement or the ability to obtain endorsement within the first month of employment (required only in states that permit pulling of double or triple trailers)
