Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our Retail Operations Center - ROC (51st Ave. & Van Buren) team. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to collect, transport, and deliver donated goods and materials for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Vehicle: Safely operate a vehicle to collect, transport, and deliver donations, processed merchandise, and other materials as directed.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Act courteously, handle customer concerns, and resolve and/or escalate when necessary.
  • Follow Established Policies and Procedures: Follow all established policies, procedures, and local, county, state, and federal laws.
  • Perform Daily Vehicle Maintenance Checks: Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Meet Daily Work Requirements: Ensure daily work requirements are met, maintaining quality and quantity performance.
  • Process and Submit Paperwork: Process and submit paperwork as directed and review reporting.
  • Work Overtime as Needed: May be required to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance: Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used.
  • Unload Vehicles and Move Items: Unload vehicles and move items as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School education or equivalent.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience operating a CDL vehicle.
  • Skills: Ability to use technology, ability to be trained and take direction, ability to speak, write, and read English proficiently.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must have and maintain a valid Class A or Class B Arizona Commercial Drivers' License (CDL), DOT Certification, clean MVR with no DUIs and no reckless operation, as well as a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Background Check and Drug Screen: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
