Child & Adolescent Services Senior Clinician - BFOQ/Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Minimum Qualifications
PLEASE NOTE: BFOQ - Bilingual (English/Spanish). This position must be filled by someone with verbal, written and reading fluency in both English and Spanish.
Master's degree in a Human Services field such as psychology, counseling, or social work, and at least three years of relevant professional therapy experience in a mental health and substance abuse treatment setting with youth and families; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Professional licensure in Virginia (such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, etc.) is required. Successful applicants will be well-versed in the systems of care approach for youth, cognitive-behavioral treatment interventions, evidence-based practices, and trauma informed care. Applicants with specialized training or experience with specific populations or treatment interventions such as art therapy, play therapy, trauma-informed care, etc. are particularly encouraged to apply.
Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Duties
Join us The Child & Adolescent Services Team (CAST) is seeking a full-time, licensed, bilingual (Spanish and English), child and family therapist to join our outpatient (mental health and substance abuse) team. The position is office-based, 40 hours per week, and requires some evening work (four hours after 5:00 each week) to meet the needs of the families we serve. Functions include assessment and diagnosis, individualized service planning, both individual and family therapy services, case management, electronic medical record documentation. Perform other work as required.
