Requisition Number AS717P Job Title Assistant - Youth Programs Pay Rate $15.00 Position Type Part-time Variable Schedule Position Summary

The Youth Programs Assistant provides in-class support during the Kids & Teens on Campus summer program. This position must work effectively with children from 8 - 15 years of age in a diverse, multicultural educational setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist classroom teacher and program staff as requested.

2. Ensure students, teachers, and staff adhere to all defined safety measures.

3. Supervise and accompany students in and out of the classroom as needed.

4. Assume responsibility for any students when necessary.

5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications

1. 18 years old or older

2. Ability to lift 18 pounds

Desired Qualifications

1. Previous experience working with children in a formal or informal setting

2. Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children

Work Schedule

8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.

* Seasonal, June 1st-August 12th, schedule may vary.
