Growth Opportunity in Medical Billing

If you're looking to enter the healthcare billing field, we have a fantastic ground-level opportunity for you where you can learn and grow. We are looking for a Business Services Clerk to join our team at our busy corporate billing HQ. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work on their feet for multiple hours and prioritize tasks to ensure that internal customers/stakeholders are served as quickly as possible. The Business Services Clerk must be a quick learner and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates must have excellent attention to detail skills and enjoy working in customer service.

What You'll Do
  • Administrative tasks that support daily operations
  • Maintain, scan, and file records so they remain updated and easily accessible
  • Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
  • Data entry
  • Assist in-office management
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies and report when there are shortages
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

  • High-school diploma
  • Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position (preferred)
  • Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record

Expertise Needed
  • Customer-service skills, excellent communication skills
  • Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Working knowledge of office devices and processes
