Job Summary:

  • The Director of Med/Surg is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the Medical Surgical Unit.
  • This includes overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management

Qualifications:

  • BSN required
  • MSN or masters in related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years acute care experience required with critical care preferred, including five (3) years of management or supervisory experience
  • Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
  • Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire
