Salary: ($20.06-$23.23) per hour depending on experience and/or applicable credit hours and certifications; 40 hours per week full time for 52 weeks.
General Statement of Duties: Assists the Mental Health Specialist in the planning and delivery of Mental Health services to the GCCARD Head Start Program's children and families. This includes, but is not limited to classroom observations, training, short-term counseling, crisis management, writing case notes, keeping records, etc.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, with licensure or certification in related field. Must have excellent oral and written skills and dependable transportation.

*Eligible In-House applicants are those individuals who have worked for the Head Start program in a full-time, part-time, and/or temporary capacity for at least 12 consecutive weeks within the last 12 months or a GCCARD Head Start parent. All In-House candidates must meet the minimum requirements and submit a separate application, resume, and transcripts for each position applied for.
