Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Participate in preconstruction and project start-up activities.
* Coordinate and maintain regular communication on project tasks and schedules with the project manager, owner, and subcontractors.
* Manage onsite employees and coordinate tasks with foreman/leads.
* Maintain a safe worksite and enforce all safety regulations. Hold weekly safety meetings. Complete daily inspections and job site safety analysis.
* Review job costs with the project manager, and accurately track labor, materials, and equipment charges.
* Receiving incoming materials, verifying and tracking inventory, and resolving associated issues.
* Complete job site paperwork, timecards, daily reports, and equipment tracking.
* Complete job close-out process.

Preferred Qualifications

* 5+ years of Construction experience.
* Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
* Manage difficult client/customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance, and meets commitments.
* Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
* Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner and will meet all deadlines.
* Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
* Observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
* Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

5+ years working as a Site Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
