Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Job Summary:

The Commercial Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of commercial projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strong background in commercial construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with project engineers, field engineers, and other superintendents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of project engineers, field engineers, and other superintendents to ensure successful project completion.
  • Travel to different project sites to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain all on-site construction project functions, including safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Ensure that company safety policies and procedures are followed and maintained at all times.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on commercial construction experience with projects valued at $5 million or higher.
  • A proven track record of successful project completion and leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others on a team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
