We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Lee's Summit, MO. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

* Tear down equipment, utilizing manufacturer's recommendations and industry best practices
* Inspect equipment and parts for wear and damage
* Diagnose possible reason(s) for failure
* Provide information on parts and additional work required
* Provide recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment
* Complete information in reports as required
* Paint and prepare equipment for shipment
* Load, secure to truck, and deliver equipment as necessary
* Clean and organize shop as required

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance
* Experience with medium voltage and sleeve bearing motors
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
