Job DescriptionJob Description

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Electricians and Electrical Mechanics with industrial experience to join our Manufacturing Team in Browns Summit, North Carolina. In this role, you will perform daily manufacturing responsibilities carried out with minimal supervision for the Final Assembly department. You will sometimes perform electrical work in a team environment or individually.

SCHEDULE:

  • 1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm

LOCATION:

  • Reedy Fork Manufacturing Facility in Browns Summit

ELECTRICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bend and install conduit (Rigid, IMC, EMT) with minimal supervision
  • Pull and terminate wiring to electrical devices
  • Read and comprehend shop drawings and schematics
  • Oversee team(s) of mechanics and helpers
  • Comprehend NEC codes
  • Test electrical components for proper functionality
  • Install control wiring and components
  • Maintain flexibility with assigned tasks
  • Follow proper safety instructions
  • Work in a team environment
  • Perform other duties as needed

ELECTRICIAN EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or related experience in electrical services

ELECTRICIAN JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of shop drawings and schematics
  • Play leading role in electrical department daily tasks
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
