Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant to support the Pre-Apprenticeship Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. This role is essential in managing day-to-day operations, maintaining records, and facilitating the intake process for potential students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to the Pre-Apprenticeship Manager and Apprenticeship Business Coordinator, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating communications.


* Conduct some intakes and assessments for potential students, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.


* Maintain organized filing systems and assist with data entry to keep student records accurate and up-to-date.


* Regular follow-up and connections with pre-apprentices and apprentices to ensure grant requirements are met


* Handle sensitive information with discretion, ensuring compliance with school district privacy policies and regulations.


* Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office to create and/or update documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.


* Collaborate with a diverse population, demonstrating strong cultural competency and excellent communication skills.


* Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as needed.



Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree or higher in a related field or documented experience of at least 4 years.


* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clerical role, preferably in an educational or training environment.


* Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.


* Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.


* Experience with file management and data entry.


* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.


* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
