Position Specific Description

This fast-paced and entrepreneurial role requires a clear communicator who can drive results through a matrixed organization. This candidate will be expected to originate new commercial opportunities, execute power purchase agreements, and manage long-term, strategic relationships with large corporate renewable energy buyers.

This role provides immense opportunity for growth and responsibility as the candidate will join an exciting team focused on decarbonizing the US economy. As part of developing their robust external network, the candidate will be able to represent NextEra at industry events and work with relevant channel partners to source new commercial opportunities. The candidate will work across teams of best-in-class subject matter experts to deliver impactful deals for NextEra and our customers by bringing new large-scale solar and wind projects onto the grid.

The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating PPAs for wind or solar projects. While this role can be remote, a candidate open to relocation to Florida is preferred.
