The Research Assistant II - Clinical Genetics works under the direction and supervision of the Principal Investigator to support all aspects related to clinical/behavioral research studies in the department. The Research Assistant II performs research study tasks involving patient recruitment, enrollment, data collection and entry, basic data analysis, and coordination of study visits; conducts literature searches and article retrievals; participates in research meetings to gain a better understanding of protocol issues and project developments; assists in preparation of grants, manuscripts and presentations; and submits regulatory materials for IRB review. In conjunction with the Marketing Department is responsible for editing the Risk Assessment Program Newsletter.

Education

Bachelors Degree : Health related field of study (Required)

Masters Degree (Preferred)

Experience

3 Years experience working in a research environment, preferably in cancer research (Required)
